A chronicle of the start-up experience would be incomplete without tracking expenses–especially if I am going claim the XLSU (eXtremely Lean Start-Up) [note that you heard it here first] mantle.
[03/06/10 Edit:] OK, Eric Ries correctly slapped me around about the “lean” term last night, so let’s correct this to be what I really meant: eXtreme Bootstrapping (XB). I will refrain from the hubris of claiming that this is particularly original.
